Cats seem to be one of the few things to elicit a smile out of her. Unfortunately, they don't feel the same about her.

Lycanthropy

Centuries ago, werewolves were more commonplace, but seem to have mysteriously disappeared over time. Consequently, Genevieve does not know any other person who shares the same ability and keeps it a secret to all but the Fòlais siblings.Although she can transform at will, she cannot stay in one form for too long without physical and mental repercussions, and risks staying in that form permanently if she changes during the full moon.Needing to consume a high-protein carnivorous diet, Genevieve often hunts out in the woods for meals. This also allows her to report any changes in the state of the dark magic back to Simon, since townsfolk avoid the forest in which the barrier stands.
